Engagement guide
Choosing an engagement ring
Three short guides from the people who make our rings: the stone, the metal and the size.
The guides
-
Choosing a stone: what to look for, in plain words
Cut, colour, clarity and carat, explained the way we explain them across the salon table, plus when a coloured stone makes more sense.
-
Gold or platinum? How each metal wears
Yellow, rose and white gold, and platinum: how they look, how they wear over decades, and what each costs to keep.
-
Finding the ring size, quietly
How to find a ring size without giving the game away, what the size numbers mean, and what happens if you get it wrong.
The metals at a glance
Each one, and rose gold too, is made for a ring worn every day.

How much should I spend?
Whatever feels right to you. Our solitaires start at AED 18,500 and most bespoke engagement rings are between AED 20,000 and AED 60,000. We’ll show you what each budget looks like, honestly.
How long does it take?
Six weeks for a collection solitaire, six to eight for bespoke. Tell us if there is a date in mind.
What if the size is wrong?
We resize free within the first year, up to two sizes either way, usually within a week.
Can we choose together?
Many couples do. Others choose the stone alone and the setting together afterwards. Both work.
Anouk put four ovals on a tray by the window and let me take as long as I needed. No one hurried me once.
