Gearboxes
Helical, bevel-helical and planetary gearboxes up to 400 kNm, matched to the motor and the load and tested as one unit.
Overview
A gearbox is only as good as its match to the load. Our engineers size every unit against your real duty: starts per hour, shock loads, ambient temperature and how long it has to run between oil changes. Service factors are shown on the quote, not hidden in a catalogue.
The NG range covers parallel-shaft helical units for conveyors and mixers, bevel-helical units where space is tight, and planetary units for the highest torque in the smallest frame, such as crushers, cranes and wind turbine yaw drives.
When we supply the motor and gearbox together, they’re aligned, coupled and run on our test bay as one drive. You receive a single data sheet and a single warranty.

Questions about gearboxes
Can you replace a gearbox from another maker?
Yes. Send us the nameplate, a photo and the shaft and fixing dimensions. We design a drop-in unit with the same footprint, often with a higher rating.
How often does the oil need changing?
Typically every 10,000 operating hours with mineral oil or 20,000 with synthetic, depending on temperature. The lubrication schedule we send with your quote gives the exact interval.
Do you repair gearboxes?
Yes, ours and other makes, at all seven service centres. See service and repair.
Send us the duty
Power, speed, voltage and the load it drives. An application engineer replies within one working day with a selection and a price.
