About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any booking or enquiry you make through it. The website is run by Northfield Strategy L.L.C, Dubai trade licence no. 1187406 (demo number), TRN 100118740600003 (demo), Office 904, Canal View Building, Marasi Drive, Business Bay, Dubai.

Using this website

• You may use the site for your own information and to contact or book with us.
• Please don’t copy our text, photos or design for commercial use without asking.
• We keep the information here accurate and up to date, but it is general information, not advice for your situation.

Bookings, changes and cancellations

You can move or cancel an intro call at any time by email. Once a project has started, either of us can end it with 14 days’ written notice; you pay for the work done up to that point, and the fixed fee is reduced accordingly. Founder advisory has a three-month minimum, then runs month to month with 30 days’ notice.

Prices and payment

Fees are quoted in UAE dirhams and exclude VAT. UAE VAT at 5% is added to every invoice, and each invoice is a tax invoice showing our TRN; services to businesses outside the UAE are zero-rated where the law allows. Fixed-fee projects are invoiced half at the start and half on delivery, advisory monthly in advance, with 14 days to pay by bank transfer. Every fee is confirmed in a written proposal before work starts.

Our responsibility to you

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer under the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020).

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for the content of other websites we link to.

Confidentiality

Everything you share during an intro call or an engagement is treated as confidential, whether or not we sign an NDA. I will sign a mutual NDA before the intro call on request. I only name clients or describe their work with their written permission.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai decide any dispute about them.

We will always try to settle a problem with you directly first, and nothing here stops you from complaining to the consumer protection authorities.
