Four golden visas, nine weeks from Stockholm
Erik and Annika Lindqvist moved from Stockholm with their young son and Annika’s mother, a business sale behind them and a long list of questions.
The story
Erik had sold his logistics software company the year before, and the family wanted somewhere warm, safe and well connected to raise their six-year-old, Nils, with his grandmother Birgitta close by. They had bought a villa on Saadiyat Island and wanted residency that wouldn’t lapse while they spent summers in Sweden.
Claire Whitmore met them on a video call with a plan on one page: golden visas through the property investment for Erik, and family golden visas for Annika, Nils and Birgitta; a holding company in DIFC for the proceeds of the sale; and a timeline that fitted around the school term.
Layla formed the holding company while Claire prepared the visa files, including the attested birth and marriage certificates the family hadn’t known they needed. The medicals and biometrics happened on two mornings of a half-term visit.
Nine weeks after the first conversation, all four held Emirates IDs. The family now uses our compliance service for the holding company’s filings, and Claire still sends Annika the school holiday calendar each August.
