Residency and visas
Investor, employee, family and ten-year golden visas, with the medicals, biometrics and paperwork in between. Typically 2 to 3 weeks.
Your visa, and your family’s
Most clients need a residence visa through their new company: an investor or partner visa for shareholders, and employee visas for the people they hire. Once you hold one, you can sponsor your spouse, your children and, with a higher income, your parents.
Claire Whitmore and her team plan the order so nobody waits: entry permits first, then status changes inside the country, then medicals and Emirates ID biometrics booked around your diary, school runs included.
If you qualify for the ten-year golden visa through property, salary or your company, we tell you in the first conversation, and compare it honestly with a two-year visa now and a golden visa later.
How a residence visa comes together
-
Entry permit
Issued within a few working days; lets you enter or change status without leaving the UAE.
-
Medical test
A blood test and chest X-ray at an approved centre. We book a premium slot: about an hour.
-
Emirates ID biometrics
Fingerprints and a photo, usually the same week.
-
Visa issued
Linked digitally to your Emirates ID; there is no longer a sticker in your passport.

Certificates issued abroad need attesting in that country and then in the UAE. We arrange the UAE side.

Claire found medical appointments that fitted around the school run, for four of us, in our first week. Nothing was too small to ask.
Residency questions
Do I have to be in the UAE?
For the medical test and biometrics, yes, usually for two or three days. Everything else we handle while you’re away.
Can I sponsor my parents?
Yes, with a higher monthly income and a suitable home. We check the current figures for your emirate before you apply.
What happens if I leave the UAE for a long time?
A standard residence visa can lapse after six months abroad. A golden visa does not, which is one reason families choose it.
Who renews the visas?
We do, if you’re on our compliance service. We write to you three months before each expiry.
